L’Ateleir offers medically guided ICOONE care for post-operative swelling, lymphedema-related heaviness, edema, fibrosis, scar tissue, restricted-feeling tissue and minor muscular discomfort. Each protocol is shaped around the client’s health history, stage of recovery and medical guidance.

Post-operative and lymphedema-related care requires an individual assessment and may require clearance from the client’s physician, surgeon or other treating provider.

Support for the body after birth and pelvic surgery.

Pregnancy, birth and pelvic or abdominal surgery leave real physical changes behind: swelling that lingers, tissue that feels tight or restricted, scars that pull, and a midsection that does not feel like your own yet. ICOONE offers gentle, external, non-invasive support through that recovery.

What a session addresses

• Local circulation and lymphatic drainage across the lower abdomen, hips and thighs
• Fluid-related swelling and heaviness that lingers after birth or surgery
• Tissue that feels tight, dense or restricted, including around a healed cesarean scar
• Minor muscular aches and discomfort in the treated area
• The visible appearance of stretch marks and skin laxity across the abdomen

What this is not

This is external tissue and circulation work. It is not pelvic floor physical therapy, and it does not involve internal treatment, biofeedback or muscle-strength training. It is not a treatment for urinary or bowel incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse or pelvic pain conditions. Those need a physician or a licensed pelvic floor physical therapist, and we are glad to work alongside yours.

Postpartum care begins only after you are fully healed and cleared by the provider who managed your delivery or surgery, and never during pregnancy. Bring your clearance to your assessment.
